Job Title: Senior Marketing Executive 

Contract: 12 Months Maternity Cover 

Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 

Location: London - Hybrid

Job Purpose

BMJ Group is seeking a results-driven Senior Marketing Executive - Performance to manage our paid channel campaigns across the entire BMJ Group portfolio. You will be working in collaboration with our external marketing agency to deliver a range of paid campaigns to our audiences. Reporting to the Head of Performance Marketing, you will receive guidance and support to develop digital marketing strategies and ensure seamless campaign execution, this will require effective stakeholder and agency management. You will play a key role in driving the performance of paid campaigns while aligning efforts with broader business objectives.

 

Responsibilities

  • The role holder will collaborate regularly with our external agency to ensure the strategic execution of campaigns, providing direction on paid search (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.) and paid media campaigns across various channels (Google Display Network, Social Ads, YouTube, etc.): keyword research, ad copy creation, A/B testing, and optimisation efforts.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and reporting on campaign performance and KPIs, and where required adjusting strategies to improve results.
  • The Senior Marketing Executive - Performance will develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams (Strategic Marketing Managers, Product Managers and Data Analytics) to ensure alignment between paid search and media campaigns by providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on campaign performance, results, and adjustments.


Skills, Experience & Qualifications            

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, and other relevant platforms.
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with experience in campaign performance analysis and reporting. Ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at various levels, including senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex data and marketing strategies.
