BMJ Group's American marketing team is expanding, and we need an experienced B2B Marketing Manager who's excited to collaborate and make a tangible difference in healthcare. If you're looking for a dynamic environment where your ideas matter, this could be your next big move.
You’ll plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns to boost awareness and drive new business for our health science journals and digital health solutions in North America. With a focus on lead generation and cross-sell activities, you’ll collaborate with product, digital marketing, and sales teams to engage and grow key customer accounts.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, experienced marketer who is comfortable taking ownership of their work. You understand the complex demands that accompany data analytics, institutional marketing, and customer experience. We strongly believe in testing and learning, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve business objectives.
This role, reporting to the Head of Marketing, BMJ Americas, requires managing multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative, detail-oriented, and accountable work environment. The position can be based in BMJ’s US headquarters in Hoboken, NJ, or be fully remote within the U.S. Occasional travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Support B2B marketing and sales efforts related to lead generation, funnel tracking, attribution, and analytics
- Drive product awareness through a combination of traditional and digital marketing channels, including email, search, print, display, and video
- Strategize ways to improve SEO scores as a lead generation channel
- Deliver quality leads to the sales team through customer-centric nurture campaigns
- Collaborate with sales, publishing, product, and other teams to strategize and achieve business goals
- Develop customer personas, analyze lifetime value, and identify trends to improve customer conversion
- Track, measure, and report on KPIs, analyzing trends and adjusting strategies based on market engagement
- Create sales enablement materials (white papers, videos, testimonials) by engaging with product end-users
- Oversee the creation of high-quality digital and print assets
Desired skills and experience
- Extensive experience in B2B marketing
- Experience in publishing or healthcare is a plus
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with martech tools such as Google Analytics, WordPress, Adobe Software, Canva, Unbounce, ZoomInfo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), and video creation software is a bonus
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, stay focused on goals, and demonstrate a proactive, positive attitude with strong resourcefulness and attention to detail.
