Training Specialist
Job Overview
Job Purpose
We are seeking a Training Specialist who is passionate and knowledgeable about Learning and Development. In this role, you will collaborate with the Head of Employee Engagement to identify the learning and development needs in the organisation and develop effective strategies to meet them. You will have the opportunity to design and deliver creative and high-impact learning and development strategies aimed at supporting employee growth.
What you will be doing
Collaborate with the Head of Employee Experience, to produce 70-20-10 training curricula and materials, with a particular focus on managers’ development and the enhancement of employee capability
Deliver BMJ in-house training modules, both in-person and virtually
Support the Head of Employee Experience to start a high-potential development program
Research and recommended external programs and training providers to support external training needs
Support our apprenticeship program by providing knowledgeable guidance about suitable apprenticeship pathways at various levels of seniority
Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development to enhance learning strategies
Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of learning activities, with the aim of continuous improvement
Experiences and competencies you need to have
Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
Excellent training, facilitating and presentation skills
Proven record of designing training solutions, including engaging, outcomes-driven, blended learning solutions, with a focus on management development
Prior experience in evaluating and sourcing external training providers
Knowledgeable and expert in identifying qualifications/apprenticeship pathways
Ability to work independently, be well-organised, make decisions and demonstrate sound judgement
