Position Overview

We are currently seeking a proactive, data-driven, and highly collaborative Account Manager to join our US Healthcare Sales Team. Your primary focus will be to drive business growth for our health science journals in the US Healthcare market.
This role is pivotal in supporting our Territory Managers by managing renewals, identifying upsell opportunities through data insights, and contributing to strategic account planning. You will work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams, ensuring the success of our sales strategy. This includes the opportunity to shadow and learn from experienced colleagues in the US and UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Renewal management: Support the renewal process by tracking timelines, coordinating documentation, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure high retention rates.
- Upsell identification: Analyze usage data, publishing activity, and key engagement metrics to uncover upsell opportunities across our valued existing accounts.
- Account success planning: Collaborate with territory managers to build and execute strategic account plans, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and expansion.
- Lead qualification: Respond to inbound inquiries and leads at the direction of the assigned territory managers; assist with discovery and initial conversations as appropriate.
- CRM & reporting: Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in Salesforce; support forecasting, pipeline accuracy, and post-sale activity reporting.
- Customer insights: Monitor and interpret clinical engagement data to understand trends and inform future outreach strategies and product positioning.

- Tech savvy: Proficient in Salesforce, Excel/Google Sheets, and excited to learn new applications and programs
- Growth mindset: Actively seeking to advance into a field-based sales role to deepen client engagement and drive strategic growth
Qualifications
- Experience in a related field (Sales, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Business, etc.)
- 1–3 years of inside sales, account management, or business development experience, ideally in healthcare or publishing
- Experience with Salesforce preferred
